    The Land Peace Foundation is honored to have been selected as the State of Maine Anchor Organization for the EPA Thriving Communities EJ Grants Program. Our role in this program is to disseminate information, share tools and resources, and connect applicants with needed technical support. In the coming months, we will be hosting a number of regional information sessions across the state, please join our mailing list for updated information and upcoming events. 


  • Kisohs Renewable Energy Pre-Apprentice Program

    Are you passionate about renewable energy? Eager to make a difference in the world? 

    Running from January 2025 to April 2025, this 12-week dynamic program combines online coursework with hands-on learning opportunities. Learning materials, course fees, PPE, and basic construction tools are provided. This partnership between ReVision Energy and the Land Peace Foundation offers a transformative learning experience for those ready to step into the renewable energy sector. 

  • The Penobscot: Ancestral River, Contested Territory

    A Sunlight Media Collective Production

    These films cover the history of ongoing territorial taking from the Penobscot Nation by the state of Maine. They tell the urgent story of an enduring struggle for justice and cultural survival in the face of an astonishingly open abuse of state power.
